Jenny-Brenda Musungay is an African - British Multidisciplinary Artist & Poet Born 24th October 1989 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R.C), (Languages; French and English).
Her family left D.R.C when she was only 15 months to live in Johannesburg, South Africa. There she attended North Cliff Primary School. In 1998 her family relocated to West London, England.
Her art is inspired by artists such as Hannah Höch, John Heartfield and Romare Bearden. Where layering of different mediums can be seen to be interspersed with collages; in an Editorial style. As well as Pablo Picasso, with the mixing of her appreciation of female anatomy and the vivid, geometric shapes of Cubism and Neo-Expressionism. Her Digital Art and Collages picks heavily from themes of spirituality and Buddhism. Highlighting points related to the Heart chakra (Love healing) and the Sacral chakra (Sexuality Creativity).
