The Art Gallery has been established since the 1950's but was taken over by the current owners, Stephen Bird and Helen Dancer, in the 1990's.
The gallery moved to larger premises, remaining in Ruislip Manor, in 2004. The business really came into it's own as the larger premises meant that regular exhibitions and events could be staged. Recently artists such as Ingrid Bee and Duncan Palmer have launched there specialist exhibitions in the Art Gallery.
And the business....well it wouldn't be the business without these people! Stephen Bird and Helen Dancer have invested the best part of twenty years building the Art Gallery into the thriving business that it is today with an excellent reputation within the industry and with it's clients.
They both have vast experience of the art and framing industry which means you can feel confident that you will receive great advice whether choosing a frame or a piece of artwork.
What drives them both is CUSTOMER SERVICE . As Stephen said, ' Without our customers we do not have a business, so we realise that they need to know how much we value them!'

Both Stephen and Helen are experienced framers. There is a dedicated framing area within the gallery which provides space for work to be laid out so framing and mounting options can be discussed.
On display are over 250 of the best moulding samples available and they are regularly updated to keep pace with trends.
A diverse range of mount options are available including slips and specialist mountboard.
Their expertise means that Stephen and Helen can talk you through the technicalities of what is required to frame your artwork. Your tastes, interior design and ideas are discussed so that framing combinations can be put together to suit your requirements and, most importantly, your budget!
In addition we specialise in canvas stretching, framing and restoration.
All work is done on the premises in the in-house work shop opening onto the gallery area so that you can view the area. You can rest assured that your framing is well cared for.
The gallery is a stockist of the specialist art glass, CLARYL. this glass is manufactured specifically for the framing industry, it reduces reflections providing superb visual quality.
